Purpose of the Ministry
It is our purpose, mission, and prayer to be a portrait of our compassionate Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our homes and to the community in words, by actions, and in decisions through various forms of Christian ministry. Jesus commanded His disciples in John 13:34, 35 “A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another”.
The daily ministry of Jesus was carried with a deep sense of love and compassion for all of humanity; believers and nonbelievers, which are hurting. The story of the Good Samaritan spoken by Jesus in Luke 10:30-37, is our Ministry’s central challenge for our communities. If we are indeed to be His disciples and the heirs of His heavenly kingdom, we must prove our love to God by showing unconditional love and compassion toward our fellowmen. Therefore, it is our purpose and mission to live Christ and to share His unconditional love with others through Christian ministry.
